The Market Place was the central hub of Artsmart: a place to meet, share, buy and make. Located in the Blueprint Bar and Cafe, the space was dedicated to networking, student stalls and a swap shop. Attendees discovered new connections and potential collaborators, or took a break from the action to grab some food or drink. The space stayed open late on Friday night for a further opportunity to network over drinks and music.

Week 1, 17 - 21 June

We kick off Artsmart in Week 1 with our fantastic launch event, giving you the opportunity to rub shoulders with fellow artist and designers, industry guests and creative support organisations. Also in Week 1, hear the latest from industry professionals, graduates and practitioners in Journalism and Publishing, Visual Communication, Film & TV, Textiles and Fine Art.

Week 2, 24 - 28 June

Packed with exciting talks and events, Artsmart Week 2 continues with highlights that include events designed for those looking to build a career in Product & 3D design and Fashion. Plus, advice on starting you own tech business, chances to pitch your business idea to established professionals, tips on selling your work both on & offline and strategies to expand your network.

Week 3, 1 - 5 July

Artsmart Week 3 draws together a broad range of industry voices to give you the tools you need make a flying start to you career in the creative industries. Accompanying events specifically designed for Photographers are talks on the practical side of starting and running you own business, ways to give that business its best possible chance of success and much more..!
